So Ive been looking at all these Internet tablets lately and am really unsure as to which one i want. Each new one that comes out is a little different then the last. And yet there is no perfect one. The most popular one is the new IPad 2.It looks spectacular.

Seeing the Ipad in action is pretty impressive. One thing I personally love about it is the speed. Of all the tablets I've personally played with, none can match apples speed. Another great thing is the amount of applications available for it.Now the downside of it is the damn price and the fact that theres no way to add more storage space. How can you target a $700.00 device to schools.Of course that price represents the 64GB version and is not exact, I'm sure there's deals all over the place. But still, c'mon. Apple is known for overpricing there product, so if I want one then I better start saving. I still think I want to wait until the Ipad comes with a USB port that can access an external drive of some sort. I actually feel that way about all tablets out there right now. In truth, it all boils down to storage space. As of now, there are no tabs out there that enable larger then 64 GB and most are only capable of 32 GB with the use of an expensive Micro SD card.
Next on my want list is the Acer Iconia Tab W500 pictured here

Acer Specs Unconfirmed |
One of my favorite features of this device is the keyboard. Even though there are keyboards available for most tablets via bluetooth, this one is built exclusively for this tablet so it almost guarantees it might work.Another feature that shines is the Windows 7 OS. sure its no Mac OS but Win 7 seems to be one of the better systems out there today. Of course the downside again is price and storage. I don't get this whole storage thing at all. Maybe someone can explain it to me.
Oh, one more thing I forgot to mention for both units is power. Lack of power is more like it. both units advertise decent battery length but when tested, both fall short. Having narrowed to these 2 units, I now have to decide. Do I want one of these? I sure as shit don't NEED it by any means. Maybe I should just wait until the features I'm looking for are integrated.Maybe somebody needs to school me on these things, lol. Until then.....
Special Thanks to Tech Raiders Tablet Buying Guide magazine for the specs posted in todays blog.

Anonymous writes: What you need to understand is that the tablets don't run Mac OSX or Windows 7. They run mobile operating systems, The iPad2 runs iOS4 and the Acer runs Google Android. The iPad2 has a camera accessory kit that converts the 30 pin connector to a usb port for downloading photos. There is also a way to trick it into reading usb flash drives. The other adapter in the kit converts the 30 pin connector to a sd card reader.
